Who can apply for E2B credits?
The E2B program is available to academic teams, researchers and early-stage startups working on AI agents or AI-based applications.
Eligible applicants should generally be:
- Building with AI agents or AI-based applications
- Working on use cases such as coding agents, AI data analysis, visualisation, codegen evals, computer use, generative UI, deep research or general agents
- Raised less than $5 million
- Less than 3 years old
- First-time E2B users only
E2B evaluates startups and research teams separately to keep selection fair and relevant. Acceptance is not guaranteed, and the program has limited capacity.

What is E2B?
E2B is cloud infrastructure for giving AI agents a safe computer to work inside. Instead of only running small code snippets, E2B gives agents access to a full virtual computer with tools, terminal, filesystem and isolated execution.
That matters for products where an AI system needs to do real work: analyse data, write and run code, test generated apps, interact with files, complete browser or computer-use tasks, run evals or execute long-running workflows. E2B is LLM-agnostic, so teams can use it with OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, Mistral or their own models and frameworks.
