FounderPass Deal Verification Methodology

FounderPass exists to help founders access genuine, privately negotiated software discounts. Unlike public coupon sites, we do not scrape promotions, list expired offers or publish codes that are not directly approved by partners.

Every deal on FounderPass is reviewed, verified and maintained through a structured process designed to protect founders from misleading or unreliable offers.

This page explains exactly how our deal verification process works.

How FounderPass sources discounts

FounderPass works directly with software companies, startup programs, partner networks and authorised distribution partners to secure discounts that are not publicly available on standard pricing pages.

We do not:

  • Publish scraped coupon codes
  • List expired or generic promotions
  • Copy offers from affiliate networks without partner confirmation
  • Display discounts that founders cannot realistically redeem

Each deal originates from a confirmed partner relationship or official startup program.

Our deal verification process

Before any discount is published on FounderPass, it must pass the following checks:

1. Partner confirmation

We confirm the offer directly with the partner or their authorised startup program.

2. Redemption testing

We test the signup or redemption flow to ensure the discount applies correctly under the stated conditions.

3. Eligibility review

We document eligibility rules such as company size, funding stage, customer status or geographic limits.

4. Pricing validation

We compare discounted pricing against live public pricing to confirm the saving is real.

5. Content accuracy review

We ensure descriptions, savings claims and terms match the real checkout experience.

Only after all steps are completed is a deal published.

Ongoing monitoring and updates

FounderPass does not treat deals as “set and forget”.

Each published offer is:

  • Rechecked when partners update pricing or plans
  • Updated when eligibility rules change
  • Removed if a partner ends the promotion
  • Flagged if user feedback suggests an issue

We display a “last verified” date on every deal page to maintain transparency.

How user reports are handled

When a founder reports an issue with a discount:

  1. Our team reviews the report manually
  2. We replicate the redemption flow
  3. We contact the partner if needed
  4. The deal is updated, corrected or removed

User reports directly influence our verification decisions.

Commission transparency

FounderPass may earn a commission when a deal is redeemed. This never affects:

  • Pricing shown
  • Deal rankings
  • Verification standards
  • Eligibility rules

We do not publish deals simply because they pay commission. Verification always comes first.

What makes FounderPass different from coupon sites

FounderPass is not a coupon website.

We do not:

  • Publish fake urgency
  • List expired codes
  • Use automated scraping
  • Rotate affiliate offers blindly
  • Inflate savings claims

Every deal exists because it has been negotiated and verified.

Who verifies deals

Deals are reviewed internally by the FounderPass partnerships team and overseen by Max Bramwell, CEO and founder of FounderPass.

Our team works directly with software partners to maintain accuracy, trust and long-term relationships.

Our commitment to founders

Our goal is simple: To help founders spend less on software without wasting time on unreliable discounts.

If a deal does not meet our standards, it does not stay on FounderPass.

Contact and reporting

If you believe a deal is inaccurate, outdated, or misleading, you can report it at any time.
