From time to time, Amazon.co.uk run promotions that give you £5 off when you spend £15, these are great as more often than not there is something you want to buy and you can use this promotion to save yourself a fiver.

The Amazon £5 off £15 offer is one of the most popular deals that they run and in most cases it's for existing accounts too rather than new accounts. This is great as many similar offers from other companies only reward new customers with sign up offers rather than rewarding loyalty and thus existing customers.

Where to check for Amazon offers

There are several places that you can check for offers on the Amazon website and you may not have been to them before, we've made a list below of the pages where you can find these deals.

When will the next £5 promotion happen?

We've seen at least one £5 off Amazon offer each year and so we expect there will be at least one in 2024, likely more but as with any promotional offer we don't know until it goes live. We, of course will keep you updated as soon as we find out the latest offer and how to redeem it.

Remember that many of these promotions will last for a limited time or have a limited number of redemptions, so if you do see a live offer we advise that you try and use it as soon as possible.

Note this doesn't mean you have to spend the money right now, you just need to apply the promotion to your account, then you'll have a time period to then useit so make sure you do before it expires in order to not miss out.

Past Amazon £5+ off promotions

In July 2023, Amazon ran a promotion where by they had a £5 off a £15 spend offer and it was open to the first 10,000 people who redeemed or claimed it.

Once this figure had been met the promotion was closed, so you had to make sure you were quite quick at redeeming this.

This particular offer was available to UK residents and was only to be redeemed against items purchased on www.amazon.co.uk specifically sold by Amazon themselves rather than by third parties. They also excluded products such as e-books, digital offerings and the Warehouse deal products.

2. Add a min of £15 of eligible products into your basket (must be sold and shipped by Amazon themselves and not third parties)

Who can redeem these Amazon offers?

This is a common question, as sometimes you'll find that the £5 off promotional credit is available for your account and other times you won't.

There is no clear reasoning behind which accounts can apply for these and which can't, our best guess is that your account is based on your activity and if they want to encourage you to spend more, however we've seen cases where those that regularly purchase on Amazon.co.uk get the offer and those that haven't for a while don't.

Our best advice if you're keen on getting this promotional credit is to simply keep checking back and seeing which offers are available and see if you can get them. In general, we have found most people will get them from time to time.

Is the Amazon £5 off £15 not working for you?

If Amazon are running this promotion in the UK and you're signed into your account and the offer isn't available on the promotion page then sadly this means that they have not made this offer available for you.

There is nothing that can be done to change this, speaking to customer services won't change this as it's something that is added outside of their control. All we can suggest is that you check back in the future for similar offers to see if you're eligible for any of the future Amazon offers.
