Mr Beast, Kim Kardashian, KSI & Elon Musk top the most influential entrepreneurs list for teenagers.

The poll, carried out by FounderPass.com who give entrepreneurs discounts on software asked 450 teenagers aged between 15 and 19 across the UK who their favourite entrepreneurs/business owners were and found overwhelming votes for reality and social media stars who have utilised their fame and following to create hugely successful businesses.

Those names that were once synonymous with entrepreneurism such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Larry Page/Sergey Brin (founders of Google) were nowhere to be seen in the Top 10.

"It's testament that teenagers are being increasingly influenced by social media and the internet, seeing and actively supporting businesses from influencers that they follow," said FounderPass spokesman Max Bramwell,.

Elon Musk tops the list but names such as Kim Kardashian, Mr Beast and KSI are in the Top 5, these entrepreneurs have started businesses in everything from cosmetics to burger chains to drinks and are often selling out of stock as soon as it arrives in stock with many products from these entrepreneurs often trading on a ‘black market’ for three or four times the RRP.

"Try to get your hands on a bottle of Prime, the drinks brand started by KSI and Logan Paul involves either getting to a supermarket and queuing before it opens or paying three to four times the price on the secondary market, this just shows the power and influence these entrepreneurs have to create a ‘hype’ and demand for their products," said Max Bramwell of FounderPass  "all of the entrepreneurs in the top five utilise the power of social media to help both their business but also their own personal brands grow” .
